Charlotte Lance has freelanced as an illustrator and graphic designer since she graduated from Melbourne's NMIT in 2004. Her work is delicately drawn and the faces of her boys & girls, mice & pigs, and storybook characters are so expressive. She uses mainly ink, watercolour, gouache and acrylic - some works full of vibrant colour, others, such as "Little Miss Muffett" (pictured below) are rendered with subtlety. (Pictured at top is "Three Blind Mice" and below, "Fragile: Handle with Care".)
In addition to working on illustrating a series of children's books, Charlotte has launched children's clothing label BOYGIRL. Designs such as those pictured below have been screen printed onto 100% cotton t-shirts (also designed by Charlotte) and are currently stocked at The Bag, Prahran and Scarlet Jones, Malvern East. Very cute indeed!
