Two gorgeous pillow cases from Sunday Morning Designs, each featuring an illustration by Dylan Martorell, screen printed by hand in brown.

On the first pillow case, a night owl is kept company by the moon and two cute mice. The owl's feathers have transformed into intricate patterns which are almost mesmerising. The forest details on the second pillow case echo the circular patterns within the owl's feathers, with large round blossoms or leaf clusters dispersed through shapley trunks and branches.

The two images complement each other beautifully, and the pillow cases are made from pale cream coloured 100% baby combed cotton which is super soft. (The fabric is a knit rather than a weave - making it even softer.)

The critters and characters who are Herbert & Friends are the cutest handmade felt softies you can imagine! We were fortunate to meet the original red knitted Herbert in person, and he introduced us to the rest of the gang, including Filomena the Owl...

Filomena worries a lot about climate change. Each day she thinks of new ways to help the planet and writes it in a letter to Kevin Rudd. He hasn't replied to her letters but she is quite confident he always reads them.

Amy is 19cm (7 1/2 inches) tall and 13cm (~5 inches) wide. She is handmade by Torunn with felt.

Tala has quite the green thumb. Her friends call her the plant whisperer because she can revive any wilted plant. Her favourite plant is the Madagascan lily.

Tala is 18cm (7 inches) tall and 15cm (6 inches) wide. She is handmade by Torunn with recycled felt and cotton fabric.
